Safe Sport

In 2021, the Protecting Young Victims from Sexual Abuse and Safe Sport Authorization Act of 2017 (“SafeSport Act”) expanded its categories of Mandated Reporters to include adults authorized to interact with children. As a result of this expansion, the SafeSport Act now covers AYSO and requires training on child abuse and mandated reporting.

AYSO's Safe Haven

This course presents information on child & volunteer protection and the key components necessary to create a safe haven. All volunteers must complete this online

Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) Recognition Training

The State of California requires the completion of the online SCA course for all sports coaches and volunteers.

All volunteers must complete these courses through the AYSOU website.
