The U10 program was developed to continue player development in a fun yet competitive environment. After the completion of the regular season a post season tournament is played with the top four teams receiving medals. The winner of the post season tournament is eligible to move on to the area tournament.
Season Length | The regular season runs from September through November, followed by the post-season which completes in the Region by the middle of December. |
Time Commitment | Practice approximately 60 minutes twice a week (depending on coach's schedule). Games are played on Saturdays. The game consists of two 25 minute halves. |
Equipment | Each player will be given a uniform which consists of a jersey, shorts and socks. The player must provide soccer cleats, shin-guards and a size 4 soccer ball. |
Certification Required | All volunteers must be registered AYSO Volunteers and must have the following certifications:
Coach - 10U Coach Certification Safe Haven CDC Concussion Awareness Sudden Cardiac Arrest Live Scan Safe Sport
Each U10 team will also need 2-3 certified referees to help cover referee assignments. So if you have a player registered in this division, you should volunteer to be a referee and also receive the following certification:

Game Format | 7 vs. 7. The game is played with 4 quarters. Substitutions are done at each quarter, and there is a short break after the second quarter. |
Team Formation | The teams are formed via a draft. The player ratings are provided to all coaches prior to the draft.
